Artificial Intelligence (AI) and LLM Policy

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Content Generation

The journal permits authors to use AI-assisted technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar tools, during the preparation of their manuscripts within specific limits. These technologies may only be used to improve the readability of the text, correct grammar, or support literature review processes.

Authors who use AI or AI-assisted technologies in any part of the manuscript (introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusion) must explicitly declare this in the "Methods" or "Acknowledgements" section.

Authorship Violations and Responsibility

Under no circumstances can AI tools and LLMs be listed as authors (or co-authors). Because these systems have no legal status, they cannot sign copyright transfer or copyright agreements. The entire responsibility for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the text rests fully with the human authors of the manuscript.

Use of AI in the Peer Review Process (Reviewers and Editors)

The peer review process is based on privacy and data confidentiality. Reviewers are strictly prohibited from uploading unpublished manuscripts sent to them for evaluation, or any part of them, into AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT).

Similarly, editors should not rely on the outputs of AI tools in their decision-making processes regarding submitted manuscripts; they must rely on their own academic merit and judgment.
